Our Garden Porters who have a passion for wildlife and natural habitats will be inspired to support these initiatives that aide in preserving natural ecosystems at The Porte, to include our pond and streams.  Specific efforts will go toward expanding, beautifying, balancing and purifying the pond's prevalence of micro-organisms that will enable plant and animal life to exist in the pond space, as well as providing a meditative retreat for guests and a nurturing water whole for our wildlife, livestock, and fur family at The Porte.  The pond is a frog sanctuary growing daily and our hundreds of birds drink here as a lifesource and it's in need of an ecosystem expansion investment.  The total cost of expansion and beautification is roughly $30,000; including, draining pond, cleaning, excavation, grading, laying protection layer, landscaping, adding microorganisms and habitat barriers, water amendments, adding water filter and solar generator, adding perennial borders and decking.
